When I’m back in Chicago, I can’t help it. The first deep dish has to happen quickly. This one’s from Chicago Pizza Authority, one of my trusted favorites. It never disappoints. And yes, the sauce goes on top here, the way it’s supposed to. There is cheese but it hides underneath, the crust comes up like a wall that helps to keep everything in, and the crushed tomato sits on top. Even better with a good citrusy wheat craft beer. Allagash White does its job of cutting through all that tomato and crust. Takeout only, and close to my family’s place. Which is exactly where I want to be eating it for my first day back.

Holy Smokes! I’m working out of town and staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Elgin. It really doesn’t have a lot of food choices nearby if you don’t have a car and unless you want to Uber. I got this flyer from the lobby and ordered a 14 inch stuffed crust pizza with extra pepperoni. The prices were very reasonable and they delivered. When it arrived I swear this thing weighed about 6 pounds 🤣 AND, it was good. Loads of sauce and cheese and pepperoni. It wasn’t even a Chicago deep dish, but it looked like it. They have those too. It FAR exceeded my expectations. Order from here, you won’t be disappointed

I ended up having the tavern style pizza with sausage, hot peppers, green peppers and mushrooms. Very good tasting pizza. I would say it's similar to Beggars Pizza but the crust is a little crunchier. Definitely more of a tangy sauce than a sweet sauce and the cheese was laid on thick. Will definitely be revisiting this Pizza joint. This place is strictly a takeout location, no worries I had to stay at one of the hotels for work and it was only a couple miles away worth it for sure. If you need to deliver they will deliver as well but it was such a nice evening had to take the drive.

We've been customers for the past couple of years and CPA is very good in my opinion. We love the quality and consistency of Great food. Out of all the pizza places in Palatine area CPA is our family's go to for pizza 🍕 😋. Plus they offer great coupons and rewards program online and through the mail.
